Routes

The route has been updated and now offers even more scenic highlights and sporting challenges:

From the biathlon centre Obertilliach, the route heads east across the meadows towards the Tilliach fields, with a turnaround below the village. The route then descends to Mühlboden and along the Gail river past the biathlon centre. The ascent into the Leitertal valley and on into the Schöntal valley towards Kartitscher Sattel then awaits - a sporting challenge, especially for those who choose the long route. The route continues through the forest passages to the turnaround in Rauchenbach crosses the meadows towards Leiten, and follows the Grenzlandloipe trail back to the finish.

Note Dolomitenlauf 2025: During the race, there is the option to switch from the 42 km distance to the 21 km distance.
